Heather Medley, LPC

Heather Medley joined the Battlefield Ministries team in 2012. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Berry College and her Master of Arts in Counseling from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida.

Heather believes that therapy is a process that is cultivated in a safe, trusting environment and she desires to create a safe space for each individual. She combines various therapeutic modalities to move beyond behavior to the heart of someone’s struggle. She is trained in EMDR, certified in Dr. Porges Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), and a Circle of Security parenting facilitator.

Heather works with adults with a wide range of presenting problems such as: trauma, grief, childhood sexual abuse, codependency, anxiety, parenting issues, and eating disorders. She also provides supervision to therapist seeking licensure in the state of Georgia.

Heather and her husband, Matt, have been married since 2007 and have two delightful children. They enjoy in watching God’s plan unfold.
