Liz Petty

Liz Petty

Liz is a former educator of 18 years. She is currently obtaining her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of the Cumberlands. Liz is passionate about giving others a safe place to discover their story and find healing in the wounds experienced along the way.

Liz believes in the ministry of Battlefield because of the impact it has had on her personal life. She knows what it is like to walk in anxiety, trauma, and co-dependency and is focused on helping others find freedom and healing from that way of life. She believes that God is with us in our pain and hurt and does not shun us for feeling the impact of a broken world. Rather, He walks alongside us as we discover restoration and abundant life.

Along with working at Battlefield, Liz is a treatment provider for Floyd County Drug Court, a case manager at The Davies Women’s Shelter, and a part-time music teacher.

Liz and her husband, Josh, have been married since 2005 and are blessed with two incredible children.
